2018 Women's Track and Field Roster
Biography
About Annika:
The distance runner from Wayzata has high hopes for the 2016 season. As a freshman in 2015, Annika ran her way into the history books in both Cross Country and Track. An All-American in Cross Country, Annika has established herself among the top distance runners at Bethel. She began her freshman track campaign with a Top Ten time in the 3000 and later ran on a school record-breaking DMR team. Annika was 2nd at the Indoor Conference meet in the 1000 and 3rd in the Mile, but her Indoor season did not stop there. Her previous Mile time of 5:00.99 was among the Top 17 in the country, good enough to qualify for the NCAA Indoor National Meet in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Annika continued to capitalize on that momentum as the outdoor season began. Her personal best 800 time came in the gorgeous sunshine at Point Loma University in San Diego, California. It still ranks 7th All-Time at Bethel. A few weeks later she helped break school records in two different relay events: the 4x8 and the DMR. At the Conference meet she was awarded All-Conference honors with her 3rd place finish in the 1500.Â
