Biography
About Jill:
Jill returns with high hopes for her third season of track at Bethel. The Junior Captain has already made her mark in the history books as one of Bethel's top sprinters. Last year Jill ended the Indoor season with a bang, running a time of 7.95 in the 60, which now ranks 5th All-Time at Bethel. At the Indoor Conference meet Jill competed in three events, placing 4th in the 60, 5th in the Pole Vault, and 6th in the 4x2. Outdoor, Jill qualified in the 100 and 200, placing 5th in the 100 with another Top Ten time at Bethel. As a Freshman in 2014, Jill vaulted a Top Ten height and then ran on a 4x2 that dropped another Top Ten time, all at Bethel's very own Gene Glader Classic. A few weeks later at the Conference Meet, Jill competed in the 60 and Pole Vault. Jill continued her momentum into the Outdoor season, where she qualified in the 100 and 4x1 at the Conference meet. The 4x1 relay team went on to claim the Conference Championship with a time of 47.68, setting a new stadium record at St. Olaf. It was also good enough for a ticket to the NCAA National Chapionships in Delaware, Ohio, where Jill and company ran 47.67, placing 9th in the country and setting a new school record. At the conclusion of the 2014 season, Jill was also awarded Academic All-American honors for her diligence and success in the classroom.Â
