About Katie:
Katie returns this year for her Junior season as one of Bethel's top jumpers. She has already made her mark in the history books and hopes to continue to improve. Last season at Bethel's very own Gene Glader Classic, Katie took first place in the high jump with a mark of 1.58 metters, good enough for 8th All-Time at Bethel. A few weeks she later placed 6th in the MIAC at the Indoor Conference Championships in the High Jump. Outdoor, Katie jumped a personal best of 16'8" in the Long Jump, making her 8th All-Time at Bethel. Katie went on to qualify both jumps for the Conference Meet, placing 8th in the Long Jump. As a freshman, Katie had an equally impressive campaign. She was 6th in the High Jump at the Indoor Conference meet, an event in which she had already been named to Bethel's Top Ten list. Outdoor, Katie remains 6th All-Time with her jump of 5'3 1/4" back in May of 2014. At the Conference Meet that year at St. Olaf, Katie was awarded All-Conference honors as she placed 3rd in the High Jump. Katie is from Lakeville where her parents, Keri and Ken, live.
