Biography
Matthew is a 2009 high school graduate from New Brighton, Minnesota. He was actively in cross-country, Nordic skiing and track. Matthew lettered in track for four years, lettered in skiing and in cross-country for three years. In 2008 he was chosen as MVP in cross-country, then in 2009 he was All-State in track and a State Participant in Nordic skiing. Outside of sports, Matthew was on the Honor Roll for eight semesters. Son of Thomas and Margaret Schafer, Matthew is currently majoring in Athletic Training and History with the aspiration of being an athletic trainer in the future.
