Friesen is a 2012 high school graduate from Osage High School where she participated in both basketball and track. In 2011-2012, Alex was honored as Unanimous 1st Team All-Conference, she was 5th in the State with three point shots made and 3rd in the State (2S) with another 3 point shots made. Lexi was in the National Honors Society from 2010 till 2012 and Academic All-State with her basketball team from 2011 to 2012. She is the daughter of Myron and Lisa Friesen and is currently majoring in Journalism.
