Kaitlyn, daughter of Todd and Kelley VanTassel, graduated from Forest Lake High School in 2016. While in high school, she earned Academic Honors each year and was voted All-Conference Honorable Mention, All-Conference, MVP. In addition, Kaitlyn was a captain for two years and earned both the Herb Brooks Award and the Hobey Baker Award. Her favorite game was the section final game against Elk River to earn a trip to the State Tournament her senior year.
