MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Bethel University men's track & field team competed at the University of Minnesota Gary Wilson Invitational on Wednesday.
Cameron McConnell registered a seventh-place time of 10.35 in the 100 meter dash prelims, which ranks sixth in NCAA Division III. He followed that with a 10.36 in the finals, good enough for eighth place. O'Connell notched a 21.08 in the 200 meter dash, which put him in sixth place at the meet, and No. 9 in the country.Â
Pryce Ferrin kept the sixth-place trend going with a 14.52 in the 100 meter hurdles, which ranks 30th in NCAA Division III. Logan Swanson followed in eighth place with a 14.58.
The discus saw Timmy Ball secure fifth place with a 51.74m, followed by Philip Conant's eighth-place toss of 46.24m.
Adam Hokanson highlighted the Royals in the hammer, where his 55.15m put him in 10th place and gave him a No. 31 national ranking.
Bethel will send individuals to the Drake Relays on April 23-24, as well as the Macalester Rider/Bolstorff Invitational on April 24-25.
