ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The No. 24 Bethel University women's tennis team dropped their first match of the 2025-26 season by a 5-2 decision to No. 60 Carleton at the Ona Orth Complex on Friday.
The Royals fall to 13-1, 2-1 MIAC, while the Knights improve to 12-4, 8-0 MIAC.

The doubles flight resulted in a clean sweep for the Knights.
Lauryn Douglas kept her undefeated season intact with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. Claire Keller prevailed by a 7-6, 6-1 margin at No. 3 singles.Â
A hard fought match occurred at No. 5 singles, where Malia McKinnon dropped a heartbreaking 7-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6) score.
The Royals will host St. Scholastica at Ona Orth tomorrow, Saturday, April 11 at 12 p.m.
