Royals Competed at Hamline Invitational

RESULTS

ST. PAUL, MINN.—The Bethel University men's track & field team competed at the Hamline Invitational on Monday.

Blake Visselman claimed the 400 meter hurdles title with a 55.58, while Logan Swanson's 56.20 put him in fourth place. The 110 meter hurdles saw Pryce Ferrin register a first-place time of 14.78, followed by Viesselman's fourth-place mark of 15.22. The titles continued in the 4x400 meter relay (3:22.00) courtesy of Tony Haack, Elliott Kent, Brody Schelhaas, and Michael Schultz. 

Cameron McConnell took second place in the 100 meter dash with a 10.72. Timmy Ball kept the second-place trend alive with a 48.26m in the discus. Philip Conant's 43.00m in the discus secured him third place. The long jump saw Brayden Waldron take second place (6.57m), followed by Nick Bovitz (6.51m) in third place. 

Adam Hokanson's 14.21m in the shot put was good enough for second place. Next was Dylan Hageman's 14.08m, which put him in fourth place. 

Evan Dallas (15:45.58) and Weston Catton (15:48.19) took third and fourth place in the 5000 meter run, as did Brody Schelhaas (49.38) and Tony Haack (49.55) in the 400 meter dash. Fourth place was the case for Luc Swanson (1.80m) in the high jump.

The Royals will host the Gene Glader Classic on Saturday, April 11.
