ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Bethel University men's tennis junior Carter Sheard was named March 16 MIAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week. This marks Sheard's third career MIAC Athlete of the Week honor as he also earned the distinction on April 14, 2025 and March 17, 2025.

Sheard registered a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles, and a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles in the Royals' 7-0 triumph of St. Norbert in Alamonte Springs, Florida on March 15. The Maple Grove, Minnesota native has a 6-2 singles record, and a 6-2 doubles mark in 2025-26.

Sheard and the Royals return to action in Florida today, Monday, March 16 against Springfield at 7:30 a.m. (ET), and Crown at 3 p.m. (ET).
