MENOMONIE, WIS.—The Bethel University men's track & field team competed at the UW-Stout Quad on Saturday.

The pole vault was all Stephen Feig, who cleared the bar at 4.63m en route to fifth place. The fifth-place trend continued courtesy of Michael Schultz's 2:00.81 in the 800 meter run. Feig's strong day consisted of a second-place time of 7.02 in the 60 meter dash prelims, followed by an eighth-place mark of 7.18 in the finals.

It was another day at the office for Timmy Ball, who registered a third-place toss of 16.16m in the shot put. That marked ranks 31st in the country, and third in the MIAC. Adam Hokanson followed in eighth place with a 15.09m. Ball carried the momentum into the weight throw, where he took ninth place with a 16.34m.

Fourth place was in the cards for Brayden Waldron in the long jump (6.43m).

Hootie Hage clocked in a 4:25.78 in the mile, good enough for sixth place.

Weston Catton crossed the finish line at 15:55.73 in the 5000 meter run, which captured him seventh place. Alex Palm accomplished that same standing in the 400 meter run, where he notched a 52.26.

The Royals will compete at the University of Minnesota Snowshoe Open on Friday, February 20.
