ARDEN HILLS, Minn. — The Bethel University softball team was well-represented in the 2025 MIAC postseason awards, with four standout Royals earning postseason recognition.

Abby Otterness – So. | OF | Mayer, Minn.
• Two-time All-MIAC honoree.
• Hit .432 in conference play, which was fifth best in the MIAC. Tallied a .689 slugging % and .500 on-base % mark.
• Tallied 18 runs (3rd in the MIAC), 12 RBIs, four doubles, three triples (2nd in the MIAC), and three home runs.
• Named to MIAC All-Playoff Team.
Mikaela Girard – Sr. | 1B | Northfield, Minn.
• First All-MIAC selection after being named to the Honorable Mention team in 2022.
• Hit .370 in MIAC play, 19th best in the MIAC, with a .485 on-base % and .426 slugging %.
• Drove in five runs, scored 13 runs, and swiped three bases.
• Drew 12 walks while striking out just twice in MIAC games.
Mandalyn Franks – Jr. | OF | Beloit, Wis.
• First All-MIAC selection.
• Batted .349 in conference action while posting a .444 slugging % and .485 on-base %.
• Collected nine RBIs and four doubles with 22 total hits and scored six runs.
Dominique Walicke – R-Fr. | P | Chandler, Ariz.
• First MIAC postseason accolade.
• Compiled a 3.32 ERA over 65.1 innings in MIAC play.
• Finished with an 8-4 record and seven complete games. Her wins tied for 3rd most in MIAC play.
• Struck out 39 batters while limiting opposing hitters to a .264 average.
