The Royals finish the 2025 season with a record of 30-13 and 15-5 in MIAC play.
The Gusties struck first plating two runs in the bottom of the first to take a 2-0 lead.
Carson Christiansen got the Royals on the board in the second, shooting an RBI single through the right side of the infield.
Joe Meurer tied the game at two with a sac fly to center.
A three-run homer to straight away left put the Gusties ahead 5-3 in the fourth. Adding on four in the fifth and two in the seventh to take a 11-3 lead.

The Royals loaded the bases with two outs, bringing the tying run to the plate.
Matt Friesen scored on a wild pitch to make it a two-run game, but the Royals couldn't complete the comeback falling 11-9.
