ROGERS, Minn. – The Bethel University men's tennis team moved to 2-0 on the year following a 5-2 win over Wisconsin-Stevens Point 5-2 Friday evening.
UWSP snagged the doubles point with BU getting its lone win at No. 1 from
Watson Sheard and
Carter Sheard, 6-4.
Dylan Magistad secured BU's first point having only dropped one game in his 6-0, 6-1 decision at No. 2 singles. A win by
Ryan Reid at No. 6 and
Zack Chaffey at No. 3 put the Royals up 3-1 as a squad before
Watson Sheard at No. 4 secured the victory.
Carter Sheard has now won five of his last six as the No. 1 singles player dating back to last season.
