Men’s Hockey Hosts St. Oaf in MIAC Semifinals on Saturday

For the second straight season, the Bethel University men's hockey is set to host a MIAC semifinal matchup when the second-seeded Royals welcome third-seeded St. Olaf in a rematch of last year's MIAC Championship game. The puck drop is set for 7 p.m. The winner advances to the MIAC Championship game set for Saturday, March 7.

FAN NOTES 
• Doors for all spectators will open one hour before puck drop at 6 p.m. 
• Alcohol is strictly prohibited in Bethel University Arena. Violaters will be removed from the arena and no refund will be issued. 
• There will be no re-entry into the National Sports Center once a ticket is scanned. 
• Seating sections for both fan bases are noted below.

PLAYOFF HISTORY
• The Royals are making their eighth overall appearance in the MIAC Playoffs and third in the last four seasons.
• It's the first back-to-back playoff appearances since 2007 and 2008.
• BU is 7-7-2 all-time in the playoffs.
• It's the second time the Royals are the No. 2 seed after accomplishing the same feat last season.
 
BETHEL NOTES
• Bethel is 9-1-1 in home games this season. The lone loss came against Hamline on Nov. 23.  
• The Royals have played nine overtime games this season, marking the most in the Chris McKelvie coaching era.
• Tyler Braccini's team-leading 18 goals rank sixth nationally and lead the MIAC.
Jack Brown's three game-winning goals this year rank 22nd nationally.
