Kayla Simacek tossed 13 scoreless innings in the No. 11th-ranked Royals sweep of Concordia. BU used early scoring for a 6-0 victory in game one before earning an 8-0 run rule victory in game two.

Simacek struck out a combined 29 hitters with 15 Ks in game one and 14 in game two. She issued one walk, which came on a pitch clock violation that was ball four, and surrendered three hits.

Allie Fauth-Kilgore was 4-for-6 with three runs and five stolen bases.
Lexi DeBace,
Autumn Earney and
Mikaela Girard all drove in two runs on the day.

• BU put up a crooked number in its first at bat, all coming with two outs and the help of a Concordia error.
Kayla Hokanson's RBI single through the right side scored the game's first run before she came around to score on
Autumn Earney's double to left.

Cortney Hokanson led off the second with a single through the left side before scoring on a double play.
• Allie Fauth legged out an infield single before swiping second and third. She would score on a RBI single from DeBace.
• Simacek through five innings tallied 10 Ks while BU built a five-run lead.

Sidney Bartels sacrifice fly brought in K. Hokanson making it 6-0.

Game 2: #11 Bethel 8, Concordia 0
• A four-run second brought the Bethel bats alive in game two.
• Simacek retired the first 10 she faced before the no hitter was broken up on a single to left.
• It was Fauth again legging out an infield single before moving up with a stolen base. DeBace's infield single to the right side allowed the speedy Fauth to make it 5-0.
• A pinch-hit solo shot to center for Madi O'Connor sparked a three-run sixth.
