Men’s Tennis Drops Close Match to Central

OWATONNA, Minn. – The Bethel University men's tennis team dropped its first match falling to Central, 5-4, in a rescheduled match from a week ago.

Due to court availability the match started with singles play where BU picked up wins at No. 3 and No. 4 from freshmen Dylan Magistad and Robert Seaton. After dropping the second set Seaton had to go the distance in a thrilling super tiebreaker to take the match.

The duo went on to win the No. 2 doubles match in convincing fashion, 8-2. Jackson Meyer and Luke Wyly picked up their first win as the No. 1 doubles team winning 8-4.
