Women's tennis and softball wrapped up their spring break trips with victories Thursday afternoon. Baseball picked up its fourth straight win with games still on the docket for Friday and Saturday.

The Royals capped out their Florida "business trip" with a 7-0 mark. Outscoring its opponents a combined 42-3 over the six day stretch. BU's pitching staff of
Kayla Simacek and
Ella Roberts held their opponents to a .133 batting average with a combined 0.20 ERA giving up only one earned run.
Simacek got the win in game one tossing six innings of shutout softball while striking out nine and giving up one hit. Roberts closed out the seventh with one hit, two strikeouts and an unearned run.
BU put up crooked numbers in its first three at bats.
Cortney Hokanson highlighted the game with her second long ball of the year and fourth of her career putting the Royals up 6-0.
The dominance carried over into game two where Roberts got the complete-game shutout striking out seven.
A three spot in the third was highlighted with a two-run shot over the left field fence off the bat of
Jamie Axelberg.

The Royals completed a three-game sweep of Saint Michael's College Thursday afternoon thanks to a five-run sixth.
Making his collegiate debut,
John Solfest tossed four innings of shutout baseball walking three and striking out two.
Justin Winterfeldt doubled to center putting BU on the board in the fifth. The Royals broke it open in the sixth where
Ty Koehn doubled and
Marcus Krupke tripled both resulting in a pair of RBIs.
Jordan Krupke picked up the win out of the pen striking out six through five innings of work and giving up one run which was unearned.
Women's Tennis Gets Back to .500 with Win over St. Lawrence (Box Score)

Women's tennis closed out its spring break trip with an 8-1 victory over St. Lawrence pulling them to 6-6 overall on the year.
The Royals won all three doubles matches in convincing fashion.
Grace Riermann continued her dominance in singles play staying undefeated with a clean 6-0, 6-0 decision.
Sydney Rott has now won four straight at No. 2 singles (6-4, 6-4) while
Elise Bierbaum (6-3, 6-4) and
Emma Thole (6-2, 6-1) are now winners of two straight.
Ingrid Goldstrand picked up her first win of the year at the No. 6 singles spot taking it 7-5, 6-0.

Bethel men's tennis fell to 6-5 on the year after losing to St. Lawrence 7-2 in the spring break finale.
Steven Benoy picked up the Royals lone win in singles play at No. 5, 7-5, 6-3. Benoy is now the winner of four straight matches.
Benoy and
Andrew Holmes continue to be a force to reckon with in doubles play. They picked up the lone doubles point and their fourth straight victory taking the No. 3 doubles match 8-5.

Bethel University men's golf competed in an exhibition match with Arizona Christian Wednesday afternoon. BU's Navy squad finished second, eight strokes behind ACU's top squad. BU Vegas carded a 450 while ACU Black carding a 350.
Bethel men's and women's track and field squad continues training outdoors this time in Myrtle Beach. The Royals are slated to compete in the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational Saturday and Sunday.
