ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The MIAC women's hockey series between Augsburg University and Bethel University on January 14 and 15 has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. The MIAC recently announced changes to the conferences COVID-19 policy that removes forfeits from the equation, making all canceled games from this season no-contests instead of forfeits. The conference standings will now be determined by a point percentage and there will be an "All-Comers Tournament" at the end of the regular season. The full release with the changes to the MIAC COVID-19 policy can be read here. The Royals next scheduled game is slated to be next Friday when they host St. Olaf College at Bethel University Arena. The Royals record now stands at 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the MIAC.
