ROGERS, Minn. – The Bethel University men's tennis team dropped its first match of the season to a strong opponent in Wisconsin-La Crosse, 6-3.
The No. 1 doubles team of
Erik Beckers and
Jason Reilly came away with BU's lone doubles win. Three singles matches were decided in a third-set tiebreaker with
Zach Kantor the only one coming out on top following the opening two sets determined by tie breakers.
Joey Mueller was the other Royals player to come away with a win in singles plays.
Up next the Royals travel to the USTAÂ National Tennis Center in Orlando, Fla. for their spring break trip where they will play four matches.
