BLAINE, Minn. – The Bethel University women's hockey team sent its senior class out in style scoring three goals over a 3:06 span in the third period to defeat St. Thomas, 4-3.
Trailing 3-1 heading into the final five minutes of the contest,
Ally Halverson cut the Tommie lead to one.
Lindsey Muntifering fed a faceoff won puck up ice to
Lindsey Albers who handed it off to Halverson just outside the blue line before Halverson took a shot from the top of the left circle.

Bri Stafne tied it up as her shot from the right side deflected of a Tommies stick and into the back of the net.
The Royals completed a comeback victory with 1:48 remaining when
Lexi DeBace slid past two Tommie defenders before feeding
Alex Belde who was skating between the two circles. Belde controlled it and went top shelf over the Tommies' netminder while falling to the ice.
St. Thomas opened the scoring 17 seconds into the game before
Grace Halvorson found the equalizer 17:50 into the first. UST scored 90 seconds before the second intermission taking a 2-1 lead.
UST added a power play goal in the third before Bethel scored three unanswered. In the crease,
Mallory Tidona stopped 26 shots.
The Royals finished the abbreviated 2021 season 6-2-1 overall and 2-1-1 in MIAC games.
