MINNEAPOLIS – The scene looked a little different than the last time the Bethel University women's basketball team met up with Augsburg. This time there were 900 less fans, a championship wasn't on the line and the Royals were in their road navy uniforms.

But one thing didn't change from last time, the outcome. Bethel (2-2, 2-1 MIAC) captured their fourth straight victory over Augsburg (0-3, 0-3 MIAC) using a balanced scoring attack in a 66-59 road victory.

Putting nine players in the scoring column, Bethel was led offensively by senior Elizabeth Schwarz and sophomore Kat Brown-Erdal who each contributed 18 points. Off the bench, Emma Schultz was one point shy of her career-high with seven.

Defensively, Bethel had a season-high 15 takeaways while turning the Auggies 22 turnovers into 28 points compared to Augsburg's 10.

Trailing by one after the opening 10 minutes, BU's offense found a groove finishing the second quarter on a 9-0 run to take a 29-24 advantage into the break.

Augsburg didn't back down chipping away at the Bethel lead in the third. While the Royals went cold from behind the arc the Auggies minimized the BU advantage to one.

Schwarz stepped up in the fourth where 12 of her 18 points came from. She hit all three shots she attempted and took advantage of BU being in the bonus going 6-for-8 from the charity stripe.
