ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Due to COVID-19 testing protocols the Bethel University women's hockey series with Gustavus Adolphus College scheduled for Friday night and Saturday afternoon, November 19th and 20th, has been canceled. According to the MIAC COVID-19 competition plan any contest that is unable to be completed due to COVID-19 related roster issues on the assigned date will automatically be considered a forfeit for purposes of conference standings (a loss for the team unable to compete and a win for the opposing team). Gustavus will thus be awarded six points in the conference standings. The games will count as a no-contest however with the NCAA. This plan was approved by the MIAC President's in October. The games may not be rescheduled as a conference contest but may be rescheduled as non-conference in the future if the teams choose to do so.
