ST. PAUL—Bethel University men's tennis team had their season finale Saturday evening as they traveled to face Hamline University. The Royals (7-8, 3-6 MIAC) edged out the Pipers (8-10, 0-9 MIAC) by a final score of 5-4, which proved to be BU's second straight win.
Bethel had its way in singles play, winning four of the six matches.
Zach Kantor shut out his opponent at No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-0, while
Nick Knudsen won the No. 3 match 6-4, 6-1.
Zeke Delain and
Jakob Bartels each got straight set victories as well by scores of 6-0, 6-1 and 7-6 (4), 6-1 respectively. Kantor and Delain earned BU's sole doubles victory as they took No. 3 doubles by a final score of 8-6.
