Box Score ARDEN HILLS, Minn. -- Bethel University's baseball team encountered a minor hiccup Thursday afternoon when falling to the No. 25-ranked College of St. Scholastica 4-0 at Hargis Park. The Royals (29-8) spotted the Saints (26-7) four runs in the first four frames and never recovered, tallying just two hits throughout the entire nine-inning affair.

Austin Ledin and
John Horner recorded BU's only two hits of the day, while six different pitchers toed the rubber for the Royals.
David Cushing got the start and gave up two runs on four hits and three walks, while striking out four in 3.0 innings pitched.
Grant Martinson gave up two more in the fourth before
Connor Malcom,
Michael Bohlke,
Carson Selin, and
Brady Leahy finished the final five frames in shutout fashion. Together, the four relief pitchers allowed one hit and zero walks, while striking out four in the final four innings.

Bethel return home Sunday, May 7, when they celebrate senior day in the regular season finale against Saint Mary's University. First pitch between the Royals and Cardinals is scheduled for 1 p.m.
