Bethel University men's tennis player Hunter Fernelius was voted MIAC Athlete of the Week this past week after earning BU four points thanks to two wins at No. 1 doubles and two wins at No. 3 singles. His biggest moment of the week was with Matt Schull when they defeated No. 1 doubles pair for St. Thomas 8-3. That was the first loss of the season for UST duo Luke Elifson and Marty Beck, who together were ITA doubles champions in the fall of 2016. BU has now locked up an MIAC playoff appearance for the first time since 2014 and second since 2010. The Royals conclude the regular season Saturday, April 29 agatinst Hamline University.
