The Bethel University baseball program will be honoring Joan Hargis, a great supporter of the Bethel Royals and avid baseball fan who recently passed away. She is the wife of longtime Bethel volunteer assistant coach Bill Hargis. This Saturday, April 15th during the Royals doubleheader with Carleton College, a special first pitch ceremony prior to the first game, as well as a dedication ceremony immediately following the first game will take place at Hargis Park. First pitch for Saturday's doubleheader is scheduled for 1 p.m. with the Royals and Knights playing a seven inning game followed by a nine inning contest.
