Baseball (Box Score 1)

Bethel baseball enjoyed their annual game against the Minnesota Twins Rookie Team Monday afternoon. The Royals and Twins played at a brand new ball park, which was located on the southwest corner of the facility. BU lost the nine-inning exhibition game 11-1, but managed to play nearly every athlete on their travel roster, including six pitchers. John Horner recorded the team's only RBI of the day, while John Leach got the start.

Men's Golf

Bethel's men's golf team escaped the rain that was anticipated in the Myrtle Beach area and as a result, managed to play Myrtle Beach National, which is a course designed by the late Arnold Palmer.

Women's Golf

The women's golf team played King and Bear Golf Course in St. Augustine, Florida today. The course is the only collaboration between golf's greatest legends, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Following their memorable round, Bethel's women's golf team visited the World Golf Hall of Fame, which is also located in St. Augustine.

Softball

The Bethel University softball team improved to 3-1 on their spring break trip with a pair of wins over Ripon College and Saint Mary's College Monday morning. The Royals began their day with a 3-2 victory over Ripon at 8 a.m. and later closed their slate with a 7-5 triumph over SMC. Anna Nichols had a banner day for BU, as the senior recorded two home runs at the plate and two wins inside the circle. Nichols finished 3-for-7 inside the batter's box with three runs scored and eight RBI. She also allowed two hits and one earned run in 9.0 innings pitched, while striking out two batters.
