Baseball (Box Score 1 | Box Score 2)
The Bethel baseball team suffered their second loss of the season Sunday when they split a nonconference doubleheader against Washington College at Terry Park. The Royals fell to the Shoremen in the opening tilt by a final score of 6-2, but rebounded in game two with a 6-4 victory. Bryce Marquardt finished 3-for-6 at the plate with one walk and three runs, while Lars Anderson went 2-for-5 with two walks and one run scored. Carson Selin pitched four scoreless innings in relief for the Royals in game two and earned his first win of the season.

Bethel is back in action Monday, March 13, when they face the Minnesota Twins Rookie Team at 12 p.m. on field one (behind the academy) of the Century Link Sports Complex. Fans attending that game are encouraged to enter the complex through the back gate on Plantation Road and let the attendant know that they are not there for the Twins spring training game.

Men's Golf

The men's golf team landed in Myrtle Beach last night and got to work immediately, practicing today at Myrtle Beach National. Weather conditions are mildly better than Minnesota, which should prepare the Royals well for the rest of their spring season.

Women's Golf

The Bethel women's golf team began their match against Flagler College at Eagle Harbor Golf Course. The Royals and Saints played two rounds Sunday. The first was called the "trifecta", which featured a six-hole scramble, a six-hole alternate shot, and six-hole best ball competition). The second was called the "Vegas" and the third, which will be played tomorrow, will be called "umbrella". BU's Abby Perrenoud recorded a hole-in-one during Bethel's practice day yesterday on the par-3, 134-yard 12th hole at Palencia Club.

Softball

The Bethel softball team enjoyed one of two off days during their spring break trip Sunday.
