BLAINE, Minn. - The Bethel University Women's Hockey team celebrated their four seniors Saturday afternoon at Bethel University Arena but were unable to top the Gustavus Adolphus College Golden Gusties in a 2-0 setback. Seniors Lauren Kolak, Hannah Williams, Megan O'Brian and Karly Vohden were honored before their final home game in the Navy & Gold. The game saw no goals in the first twenty minutes with countless opportunities for both teams. Gustavus got on the board first just a little over a minute into the second period and that would be the eventual game winner as the Royals could not convert on their numerous chances. The Gusties would then add on two more goals including an empty netter to seal the victory.
 
The loss for the Royals drops their record to 7-12-4 and 4-8-4 in the conference. Next weekend the Royals travel north to Moorhead, Minnesota to take on the Cobbers from Concordia College in the season finale. Friday night's puck drop is scheduled for 7pm.
