The Bethel University women's hockey team is set for their season opening games this weekend against a pair of tough opponents as they host the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Friday night and No. 2-ranked University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Saturday. The Royals, who shared the 2015-16 MIAC championship with St. Thomas were picked to finish second in the MIAC Preseason Coaches Poll and are also receiving votes in the USCHO Top 10 Division III Preseason Poll. Bethel has a nice balance of returners, led by four seniors, and newcomers, which includes eight freshman, on this years roster.
