Game 2 Bethel's squad improved to 7-1 overall and 4-0 during their spring break trip with a series sweep over UW-Platteville Sunday morning. The Royals mustered two game-winning hits in the final inning of play against the Pioneers after squandering a lead late in the contest. BU received a gem in Sunday's opener from
Tyler Heitmann, who allowed no earned runs and 10 strikeouts in the complete-game victory. He now has allowed one walk and struck out 19 batters faced in 13.0 innings pitched. Bethel jumped out to a 4-0 lead in Sunday's second tilt and despite giving up five runs in the bottom of the sixth, BU battled back with three runs in the top of seventh with two outs to capture a 7-5 victory.

Mike Schultz's single with the bases loaded in the second proved to be enough.
Men's GolfBethel's men's golf team spent the day practicing their skills at Baytree National in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The Royals will take on Florida Tech on Friday.
Women's GolfBethel's women's golf team spent its Sunday practicing at Thousand Oaks Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California. Thousand Oaks CC is the home of the California Lutheran Invitational, which the Royals will participate in this week.
SoftballThe Royals had a simlar situation to Saturday, as BU defeated Utica in their first game 9-4 and fell to Stevenson in their second4-6.
Kelsey Anderson manufactured a two-run triple, an infield single, and an RBI double in the first, in addition to Kal Sorensen's three-run bomb. Bethel led 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth against Stevenson and 4-3 in the bottom of the eighth, but Stevenson tied it in both innings and upended the Royals in the bottom of the ninth. BU is now 4-4 on the season with splits in their first four days of competition.
Men's TennisBethel's men's tennis team got off to an incredible start, as the Royals picked up two out of three wins throughout doubles play. Wooster was able to overcome the early deficit, however, as they outlasted BU with five wins in singles play.
Blake Watts was victorious at No. 6 singles 6-3, 6-3, but despite many close matches no one else was able to pick up points for the Royals in singles play.
Women's TennisThe Royals composed a 6-3 victory over the College of Wooster tonight in Orlando, Florida. Bethel picked up two critical wins throughout doubles play, including an 8-4 victory at No. 2 doubles and an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.

Larissa Voss all won in singles play as well. BU improves to 6-3 overall and begins their spring break travels 1-0.
