Game 2The Royals improved to 5-1 on the season with Saturday's series sweep over St. Joseph College. Bethel unleashed nine hits and drew four walks in their opening 9-1 victory over the Golden Eagles.
Joe Zorn then allowed zero earned runs and zero walks in game number two, which was needed as the Royals escaped with a 2-1 win. Zorn struck out five over the seven innings pitched.
GolfMen's golf traveled to Florida today, where they'll spend the week practicing, competing, and preparing for the 2015 NCAA Division III golf champinoships. Women's golf flew to California, as they prepare for their annual contest at Cal Lutheran.
Softball4-1 win over Bates College
6-5 (11 inn.) loss to UW-Stevens Point
Bethel's softball team goes to 3-3 on the season after splitting Saturday's twin bill. The Royals led UW-Stevens Point 4-1 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, but the Pointers manufactured a three-run home run to tie the game and came back to win in extra innings.
TennisBU's men's and women's tennis team begins its spring break competition tomorrow, as each team faces the College of Wooster in Orlando.
Track and FieldThe track and field teams leave for San Diego, California, Monday morning in order to get some outdoor work in for this Saturday's meet at Point Loma Nazarene University.
