ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel University women's hockey team is set to make their fifth consecutive appearance in the MIAC playoffs Thursday night when they travel to Saint Mary's University. The Royals and Cardinals will faceoff at 7 p.m. at the SMU Ice Arena in Winona, Minnesota. This is the first postseason meeting between the two teams. The Cardinals swept the Royals in the regular season series back on January 16/17 by 2-1 and 1-0 scores. Since that series sweep the Royals have recovered to go 5-3-2 down the stretch, averaging three goals per game, to earn their eighth playoff appearance in program history.
