The Bethel University women's hockey team is set to open their season tonight at home against the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds. The Royals are coming off a record breaking 2013-14 season and return four of the top six scorers in the MIAC from last season. The Royals and fifth-year head coach Brian Carlson are also welcoming in eight newcomers. 

Bethel begins the season receiving votes in the Preseason USCHO.com Division III Women's Top 10 poll while the MIAC Preseason Coaches Poll will be released later today.

Tonight's game with the UWEC Blugolds can be viewed online along with live stats here. The puck is set to drop at 7 p.m. from Bethel University Arena at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn.
