MATCH RESULTS

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Bethel University's men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to St. Olaf College Friday night in Northfield, Minn. The men's squad had several close sets and matches, but was unable to close the door on the opposing Oles.

Tucker Morris (Jr., Arden Hills, Minn.) had perhaps the most entertaining matches, as the junior from Mounds View High School fought to a 7-5 finish in the first set of the number one singles competition and a 9-8 (9-7) doubles result in the number one doubles match.

Kent Nichols (Sr., Zimmerman, Minn.) brought his singles match to 7-5 in the first set as well, but fell in the second 6-2. Additionally, Bryce Johnson (Sr., Blaine, Minn.) and David Leafblad (Jr., Coon Rapids, Minn.) fell in their doubles match 8-6.

The Royals will face Hamline University in their next MIAC matchup on Tuesday, April 24.
