ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel Men's Tennis team has been in action throughout the second half of February, defeating Northwestern College and the Milwaukee School of Engineering to even their team record to 2-3.
On February 17, the Royals took on rival Northwestern College at the Sports and Recreations Center at Bethel University. The Royals made quick work of the Eagles by defeating them 8-1. Bethel won every singles match and two of the three doubles pairings.
Coming off their first victory of the year, the Royals traveled to Eau Claire, Wisconsin to take on the Blugolds of UW-Eau Claire. While the Royals first victory was impressive, their third match of the year wasn't quite as glorious. Bethel fell in every singles/double match on the day to lose 9-0.
Despite their significant loss to the Blugolds, the Royals regained their momentum against the Milwaukee School of Engineering later in the day. Bethel handed M.S.O.E., with a 9-0 trouncing.
On February 23, the Royals took on Carleton College in Lakeville, Minnesota for their first conference match of the year. The Royals played the Knights tough throughout the match, but came up with the short end of the stick, losing 6-3.
Tucker Morris defeated Alexander Chin in the #1 singles pairing and
