GAME 1: BOX SCORE
GAME 2: BOX SCORE

ARDEN HILLS, Minn.
– The Bethel Women's Hockey team suffered the same faint as the men's team over the weekend, losing both games to the University of St. Thomas Tommies. The Royals couldn't solve the Tommies in Friday evening's game, as they lost by a score of 5-2. In Saturday game, the Royal battled the Tommies hard, but in the end it was St. Thomas who came away with the 2-1 victory.

Kate Wahlin (So., Lakeville, Minn.) and Cristina Masten (Fr., Fergus Falls, Minn.) both tickled the twine for the Royals Friday night, but it proved to not be enough for the Bethel squad. Kristen Grossman and Kelley Fallen scored goals as the Tommie hockey team scored a 2-1 win Saturday afternoon in Blaine. That completed a weekend sweep. For Bethel, Charise Kendrick (Fr., Scandia, Minn.) accounted for the Royals lone goal.

Bethel will take on Augsburg College this weekend in an attempt to strengthen their MIAC playoff chances. Game time is schedule for 7:05 p.m. Friday evening in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
