ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Bethel's men's tennis team faced Carleton at home on Saturday, but fell by a score of 7-2 in the final match of the regular season.

The tandem of Tom Ronning (Sr., Alexandria, Minn.) and Kent Nichols (So., Zimmerman, Minn.) won in doubles 8-4, while Tucker Morris (Fr., Arden Hills, Minn.) was the only Royal to garner a victory in singles play by winning 5-7, 6-1, 10-6.

Bethel is seeded fourth in the upcoming six-team conference playoff tournament. The Royals are scheduled to face #5 seed Macalester at 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon on Brown Courts 1-6 at Gustavus College in St. Peter, Minn.
