Women's Hockey Plays St. Norberts in Schools First Game in Program History

GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Royals traveled to Green Bay Wisconsin today to take on St. Norbert's in the school first ever women's hockey game. In front of a crowd of over 500 the Royals statistically kept the game close, but ultimately dropped the match 2-0, giving the Green Knights their first ever win.

Looking at shots by both teams the Royals were right the heat of things. The Royals had 28 shots to the Green Knights 30, but were just unable to get one to go their way. Meanwhile the Knights got a 1-2 punch from Lauren Straus and Zoe Kurth who each had a goal and assist.

The Royals will travel to Mequon Wisconsin tomorrow to compete in the second game of their season. There the Royal will face off against Concordia College.
