ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Just about everything went right for Bethel today in their match against MIAC opponent Macalester. The sun was shining, the temperature was perfect, and the men walked away with an 8-1 victory over the visiting Scots.
The day started with doubles, and the Royals certainly got the match off on the right foot as each of the Bethel duos took home a win.
Jordan LeFebvre (Jr., Roseville, Minn.) and
Joel Cassens (Jr., Owatonna, Minn.) boast the best score of the contest, defeating their opponents 8-4, though that takes nothing away from the other two doubles victories, which ended at 8-5 and 9-7.
Highlighting one person becomes difficult when Bethel swept Macalester in singles save one close match. Number one singles
Tom Ronning (Jr., Alexandria, Minn.) walked away with a 6-2, 6-3 win, while number two
David Torres (Sr., Arden Hills, Minn.) finished at 6-3, 6-3. Freshman sensation
