WHITEWATER, Wis. - It was an early morning for the Royals as they took on the Alma College Scots of Alma, Mich., at 9 a.m. today as part of a tournament hosted by UW-Whitewater.

Unfortunately for the Royals, the Scots were not fazed by the game time and went on to blank Bethel 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-16).

For the third straight game, Kelly Otto (Jr., Plymouth, Minn.) supplied the Royals with a majority of their firepower by recording 11 kills and a block assist. Co-captain Chelsea Falck (Sr., DeForest, Wis.) was the next highest scorer with eight kills and a block assist.

The Royals fall to 1-2 on their season, while Alma improves to 2-1. Bethel will wrap up their play at the UW-Whitewater tournament by facing Wheaton at 1 p.m. today.
