SPRING LAKE PARK, Minn.  - Bethel earned their first conference win today by defeating the visiting Cobbers of Concordia-Moorhead 6-3 at the Public Indoor Tennis facility.  The uncertainty of stable weather conditions caused the meet to be moved from the Ona Orth Athletic Complex to an indoor location.

The Royals swept through the doubles competition and then took three out of six singles matches to earn the victory.

Bethel has now won back-to-back matches for the first time since the 2006 season, and is 3-9 overall/1-3 in the MIAC.  Concordia drops to 3-9 overall and 0-6 in the conference.  Bethel is scheduled to host St. Catherine on Tuesday beginning at 4 p.m. at the Ona Orth Athletic Complex for their next meet.
