ST. PAUL, Minn. - After a season of ups and downs, the Royals closed out the 2008 campaign with a conference win over Hamline, 6-3.

A pair of doubles wins put the Royals up 2-1 heading into singles play, where they took four out of the six matches.  Kristin Kishaba (Jr., Eau Claire, Wis.) rallied to win her match in a tiebreaker set, while her younger sister Allison (So., Eau Claire, Wis.) improved to an impressive 7-3 in conference play with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Sara Mitambo.

The Royals finish 5-14 overall and 2-8 in the conference, while Hamline falls to 4-15 overall and 0-10 in MIAC play.  Bethel will take on UW-River Falls in a scrimmage on Thursday at home for their final outing of the season.
