ST. PAUL, Minn. - With their 9-0 win over the hosting Hamline Pipers, the Bethel Royals set a new school record for conference wins in a season with seven.  The win helps cap off a second consecutive third place conference finish, defying the preseason coaches' poll prediction of a fifth place finish.

The Royals end their season 7-2 in the MIAC and 9-6 overall.  They will be the third seed in the upcoming conference playoffs and will take on St. Olaf at 3 p.m. this Friday at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.
