ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Royals took on the Macalester Scots today and were defeated 7-2.

The tandem of Allison Kishaba (So., Eau Claire, Minn.) and her sister Kristin Kishaba (Jr., Eau Claire, Minn.) emerged victorious in their double match, 8-3.  The two are now 7-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play.

Ashley Dohlen (So., Morris, Minn.) was the only other Royal to earn a victory today.  She rallied to force a tiebreaker set, and won 4-6, 6-4, and 10-3.

Bethel drops to 3-13 overall and 1-7 in the MIAC while Macalester improves to 13-4 overall and 7-2 in the conference.  The Royals are scheduled to take on UW-Stout at the Ona Orth Athletic Complex tomorrow at 4 p.m.  If weather becomes a factor, the match will be moved indoors to the Sports and Recreation Center (SRC).
