LAKEVILLE, Minn.
- Bethel played an even match with St. Olaf today, but was ultimately defeated 5-4 at the Match Point Tennis Center.

Cold and rainy weather forced the match to be played indoors.

The Royals took a 2-1 lead after doubles play, but the Oles claimed victory in four of the six singles matches for the win.

Allison Kishaba (So., Eau Claire, Wis.) improved to 5-2 in singles play, while she and her sister Kristin (Jr., Eau Claire, Wis.) improved to 4-3 in doubles play.

Ashley Dohlen (So., Morris, Minn.) notched her first conference win of the season by rallying to win her second set 6-1 and then winning the tiebreaker 10-7.

The Royals fall to 3-12 overall and 1-6 in the MIAC, while the Oles improve to 4-4 overall and 4-2 in the conference.  Bethel is scheduled to take on Macalester next Thursday in St. Paul for their next match, beginning at 5 p.m.
