Bethel breaks out of slump with 11-2 drubbing of Carleton

CLERMONT, Fla.
- The Royals broke out of a four game slump by defeating conference opponent Carleton 11-2 in a non-conference game at the National Training Center today.

Amber Beasley (Jr., Medina, Minn.) walked three times, had a hit, and scored three runs for Bethel.  Molly Trombley (Sr., Stacy, Minn.) was 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and runs batted in as well.

Charitey Rowden (So., Shellsburg, Iowa) and Rebecca Akerson (Fr., Lakeville, Minn.) shared pitching duties with Rowden earning the victory.

Bethel will now return home to face Macalester next Tuesday to begin conference play.
