EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The Royals earned their first victory of the season in a sweeping manner as they defeated Lawrence University 9-0 at the Ade Olson Addition of the McPhee Physical Education Center on the campus of UW-Eau Claire.  However, they were defeated 6-3 in their following match against the hosting BluGolds

Tom Ronning (So., Alexandria, Minn.) improved to 3-0 in singles play, while Jordan McIver (So., Alexandria, Minn.) and Jordan LeFebvre (So., Roseville, Minn.) improved to 2-1 on the season by winning their singles matches against both teams.

The split moves  Bethel to 1-2 on the season overall.  They will return to MIAC action as they take on Saint Mary's in Winona, Minn., next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. for their next match.
