ST. PETER, Minn.
- Last night, the Bethel Royals were defeated on their home ice by the Gustavus Gusties 2-1 in overtime. Tonight, the Royals turned the tables on the Gusties, defeating them 3-2 in overtime at the Don Roberts Ice Rink. Three-time All-MIAC center Kent Bostrom (Sr., Vadnais Heights, Minn.) scored the winning goal just 24 seconds into the extra period to give Bethel the win.

Much like the night before, the two teams dualed back and forth with Bethel scoring first. John Kovacs (Sr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) scored his second goal of the season with just six seconds remaining in the first period after Christian Fogerty (So., Forest Lake, Minn.) fed him the puck.

However, Gustavus answered with two goals, one by Mike Carr in the second period, and one by David Martinson in the third. It wasn't until Brad Peterson (Sr., Bloomington, Minn.) scored at the 12:14 mark of the third period with the help of Bostrom that Bethel was able to pull even with the Gusties and send the game into overtime.

Aaron Damjanovich (Jr., Remer, Minn.) recorded 43 saves on the night for his sixth win of the season.

The victory helps Bethel improve to 3-3 in conference play and 6-4-1 overall while Gustavus falls to 6-4 overall and 3-3 in the MIAC as well. The Royals are scheduled to take on UW-River Falls next Wednesday night at 7:05 p.m. in Wisconsin for their next game.
